You can delete your YellowFarm account and personal information at any time. YellowFarm is operated by the YellowFarm Ops Team, Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
In the app
Open your profile, choose Delete account and confirm with your PIN.
Without the app
Email helloyellowfarm@gmail.com from any email address. Write your registered YellowFarm mobile number and ask us to delete your account. Before deleting anything, we will call that number to confirm the request is yours.
If the email link does not open, copy the address into your email app. Opening the link alone does not send a request.
What is deleted
Your sign-in account, profile, listings, requests, photos, contact-sharing records, notifications and other account information are removed. Related records on other users' side, such as their interest in your requests or their requests to you, are also removed. You lose access as soon as deletion starts; the rest finishes in the background and can take longer if a problem must be fixed.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.
What we keep, and for how long
A safety record with your name or business name, mobile number, role, and how and when your account was deleted, for 180 days, to prevent fraud and deal with legal claims. Only authorised staff can see it. It cannot restore your account or stop you registering again.
Records needed to finish the deletion and handle repeat requests safely, removed about 30 days after the deletion finishes.
A restricted record of how our staff handled your deletion request (who acted, when and with what result), kept to show that requests were handled properly, with no fixed end date.
Reports about content and their evidence, for 180 days after the report is resolved.
Anything else the law requires us to keep, for as long as it requires.
Backups and our service providers' logs are kept for a limited time for recovery and security. If we ever restore a backup, we make sure deleted accounts are not brought back. Support emails are kept separately; you can ask us to delete them unless the law requires us to keep them.
